Why I didn’t stream it. Why I don’t reprint it. Why it mattered.
Let me be honest with you, friends — I’m not the kind of artist who goes back and listens to his own recordings. Studio albums have their place, but after years of touring, I know that something truly magical happens in a live show that no studio track has ever quite matched.
That’s why, when the sound engineer at Act2 Stages in Puerto Vallarta handed me a live recording of one of my shows, I hesitated. But I gave it a listen — and was floored. So much so that I asked him to record a brand new show the following year.
What came from that?
🎙️ A mastered double live album that became one of the releases I’m most proud of.
Two full-length concert recordings.
Some of my strongest vocal performances to date.
And one very intentional choice: I didn’t stream it.
This wasn’t meant for algorithms.
It was meant for you — the people who’ve been in this with me.
We released it on a high-quality USB drive — no adapters needed — housed in a sleek metal case and packed with high-res MP3s. Not just for your car, laptop, or phone — but for your collection.
And now? It’s officially sold out.
There won’t be another batch.
This double concert featured Piano Men and O’ Canada — two shows that sold out night after night at the Red Room in Puerto Vallarta. The tracklist? A wild ride of originals, covers, vignettes, and a few unreleased gems like “So Much Justice.” It was intimate. Raw. Joyful. And totally in-the-moment.
🛑 Why keep this blog post up if the album’s gone?
Because this was a special release for a reason. And if you're just now discovering my music or my store, this is your friendly nudge to keep your eyes peeled.
Sometimes, the rarest items don’t stick around long.
Thanks to everyone who claimed this one. I hope it’s still playing loud in your homes, cars, and hearts.
