💥 Making Sobriety Sexy

Why I created two T-shirt designs that celebrate the power of sober living

A few months ago, I went searching online for a “Sober Is Sexy” T-shirt. I’ve always loved how the hashtag #soberissexyshows up on Instagram — used by my fellow sober brothers and sisters to claim their healing with confidence and style.

But I couldn’t find anything I actually wanted to wear.

Everything felt dated or cliché. Nothing reflected the energy I feel after thirteen years of sobriety — from meth, no less. I didn’t want a shirt that whispered recovery. I wanted one that shouted pride. That felt badass, desirable, sexy.

So I made my own.

Actually… I made two.

Before adding them to the shop, I started wearing them around town. And let me tell you — the reaction was instant.
Strangers on the street stopped me to say, “I love that shirt.”
People smiled. They asked questions. They felt the message.

That’s when it hit me:
There’s a real need for sober-related apparel that reflects the lifestyle in a way that’s empowering, stylish, and authentic.

If you’re on this journey too — whether you're in recovery, sober-curious, or cheering on someone you love — I want you to feel proud. Proud of the fight. Proud of the freedom. Proud of the you that’s rising from the ashes like the phoenix featured on my ’80s Rock design.
